Kent Falls and the Civilian Conservation Corp

I first learned about the CCC in sixth grade when I went to Camp Waskowitz, an outdoor education camp. The buildings there were built as part of a forestry base camp.

I have seen the lasting legacy of CCC projects all over the US, in local, state, and national parks. When I was contemplating moving to CT, my future boss brought me to Kent Falls. The park definitely had an impact on my decision to move out East.
